Fresh of the press, I can present our latest animated marketing promo for Spy University Answers VBS 2027. This year I was priveleged enough to continue working directly with our illustrator, Paul Agner. After our script was finished by Leilani Squires, I jumped into storyboards — working out the characters, pacing, and environments. Once the storyboard was approved, I sent it off to Paul to work his illustration magic. He did an amazing job like previous years. It reminded me of our success with Wonder Junction’s hand-crafted promo. Due to the technical design of this year’s direction, we utilized a few stock FX. I additionally had assistance from Mark Abney on some of the interface animations. Play the video below for a behind-the-scenes look at the production process.
